An editable AI draft is useful because you can correct it. Review the dimensions in a consistent order: room first, fixed openings second, cabinet runs third, and individual appliance details last.
Rendered Kitchform design. Photo Build drafts need separate review and measurement.
A practical workflow
01
Set the room envelope
Replace planning width, depth and height with measured values. Mark discrepancies between walls and note any beams or projections that the simple room model does not capture.
02
Anchor fixed elements
Position doors, windows, plumbing and ventilation from measured reference points. Decide whether a proposed layout keeps those services or requires professional work to relocate them.
03
Check units as a connected run
Inspect each unit width and the combined run. Leave the required fillers and product-specific clearances. A cabinet being movable in the editor does not establish that it can be installed in that position.
Choose the right starting point
Manual kitchen planning and browser-made Free photos are free. Photo Build requires sign-in and an available allowance or paid credit. The upload dialog shows any active promotional offer and its end date.
During Photo Build week, a qualifying promotional build includes an editable draft and one High render of that kitchen. Drawing exports and additional High photos are paid separately. A paid credit makes one kitchen Premium; see current pack prices and allowances.
Questions about this workflow
Are the dimensions ready for ordering after photo analysis?
No. Photo analysis estimates the visible kitchen. Ordering dimensions and installation requirements need independent measurement and supplier verification.
What can I do next in Kitchform?
Open Photo Build to check your account allowance, upload supported kitchen photos and review the suggested draft. Enter measured room dimensions before relying on the layout.
